Ciarán Conroy is a Partner in FS Tax, advising aviation finance, private equity and banking clients. He specialises in structuring aircraft leasing platforms and portfolio transactions and contributes regularly to industry groups and publications.

About Ciarán

Ciarán Conroy is a Partner in EY’s Financial Services Tax practice and is focused on the aviation finance and structured finance space. He has extensive experience in advising aircraft leasing groups and banks on the establishment and structuring of aircraft leasing platforms in Ireland, covering areas such as structuring, debt financing, tax modelling, transaction taxes and implementation support. He has supported a number of leading aircraft lessors on the acquisition and divestment of significant aircraft portfolios and is a member of EY’s Global Aviation Finance network. He has also spoken regularly at industry events on developments in aircraft leasing and written articles on same in publications such as Finance Dublin and the Irish Tax Review.

He has also led multiple big ticket tax engagements across the broader Financial Services sector, including diligence and post-transaction structuring.
