Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large-scale technology transformation programme’s from mobilisation through delivery, transition and benefits realisation.
- Provide senior programme leadership across multi-disciplinary teams including business, technology, architecture, engineering, testing, risk, and operations.
- Establish and maintain strong governance, programme controls, delivery plans, dependency management, risk management, and executive reporting.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating complex delivery risks and decisions into clear business choices.
- Lead delivery quality across programme outcomes, ensuring alignment between client objectives, technology strategy, and measurable business value.
- Operate effectively in complex, multi-vendor environments and help clients make pragmatic decisions on scope, sequencing, trade-offs, and delivery priorities.
- Mentor and develop senior EY team members, supporting capability growth across the Platforms practice.
- Support growth and pursuits through programme delivery insight, proposal input, and client credibility.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- 12+ years of experience leading complex technology transformation programme’s, ideally within financial services or other regulated environments.
- Proven ability to lead major programme’s across the full software delivery lifecycle, from strategy and design through build, test, deployment and run.
- Strong experience in senior stakeholder management, governance, vendor management, and executive-level reporting.
- Excellent understanding of technology delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery models.
- Demonstrated ability to manage scope, plans, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and delivery quality across large programme’s.
- Experience in delivering business value from technology and communicating that value to senior business stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong academic record including a third-level degree, preferably in IT, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field.
