Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead complex tax advisory projects for financial services clients across asset management, insurance, banking, and private equity sectors, including structuring, due diligence, and tax-efficient financing strategies.
- Deliver high-level technical tax analysis on Irish and international corporate tax matters, including BEPS Pillar 2, ATAD, DAC6, and OECD developments, ensuring alignment with evolving global standards.
- Manage client portfolios end-to-end, overseeing compliance, planning, and controversy management, while ensuring timely delivery and technical excellence.
- Supervise and mentor multi-level tax teams, including assistant managers and managers, ensuring quality control, technical development, and performance management.
- Engage directly with Revenue authorities, preparing responses to audits, disclosures, and technical queries, and representing clients in negotiations and settlements.
- Drive business development initiatives, including identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and contributing to strategic growth of the FS Tax practice.
- Integrate tax technology and analytics tools into client delivery, leveraging automation and data insights to improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate across service lines, including legal, advisory, and assurance, to deliver holistic solutions to clients navigating complex regulatory and operational environments.
To qualify for the role, you must have:
- Professional qualification in ACA (or equivalent), law and/or Tax; or
- AITI qualified or equivalent qualification in a Commonwealth country (such as Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, South Africa, UK).
- 4-6 years relevant post qualification tax experience.
- Experience working in industry or practice as a tax professional
- Strong technical skills and be keen to develop further.
