We are pleased to announce the launch of a new aviation managed service engagement with K2 Aviation, a global commercial aircraft lessor, delivered in collaboration with Cloudcards Software.
This marks an important step in the development of a new aviation focused managed service offering at EY.
The engagement is centred on supporting back-office data, records and workflow activity across the aircraft lifecycle. This includes lease, technical and operational data support, onboarding and administration, and ongoing managed operations.
Working closely with Cloudcards, the model brings together structured operational delivery with enabling technology. The aim is to support more consistent handling of aviation lease and records management, improve data accessibility and reduce complexity across day to day operations.
As aviation portfolios grow and data requirements become more demanding, there is a clear need for more scalable and reliable support models behind the scenes. This engagement reflects that shift towards a more integrated approach to managing data and documentation.
Niamh Tobin, Head of Aviation Finance, EY Ireland:
“This collaboration is an important step for K2 as it continues to scale. By partnering with EY, K2 can stay focused on its core commercial priorities, supported by a lean team, with the confidence that it has access to the capabilities and capacity to scale at pace as its business grows.”
Dillon Mack, VP Financial Planning & Analysis, K2 Aviation:
“As K2 Aviation continues to scale its global aircraft portfolio, the complexity of managing lease data, technical records, and operational systems across the aircraft lifecycle demands a more integrated approach for our platform. Partnering with EY and Cloudcards gives us the operational backbone to handle that complexity without pulling focus from our core commercial strategy.”
Bill Blake, CEO, Cloudcards Aviation Software:
“We are delighted to partner with K2 Aviation and EY on this initiative. By utilising our Asset Management Software, K2 Aviation can seamlessly streamline its contracts and lease management workflows. This collaboration highlights how combining EY’s operational expertise with our enabling technology delivers a truly scalable, modern solution for managing complex aviation assets.”
This is a collaborative effort, and we are working closely with both K2 Aviation and Cloudcards on how we bring this story to market.
It also marks the beginning of a broader focus for EY on aviation back office managed services, with further developments to follow.
